It's been forever...

And it seems the drift life has all but vanished from my day to day reality. Life has taken it's turns, abruptly and alarmingly so for me, and I find myself without a car, without a direction, and without any real purpose. On top of that all, I'm no longer up in the Seattle area, which means I can no longer chill with my homies or do anything I used to love to do.

I know I'm the only person who reads this blog, I'm not even sure Devin does anymore. but man.... Life is a cruel thing. the whole "coming of age" really means the beginning of the end. It's hard to keep it in perspective and try to remember that I'm blessed with more than many; even the gift of life on this earth is more than I deserve, and some poor children and lost souls have never made it to their 21st birthdays, which I just had a month ago. Still I find myself ever more bitter that things have turned out this way, trying to stay positive without a direction or sense of purpose or place of belonging seems and feels impossible to me.

I guess it truly is the story of a lonely drifter....

so, looks like the blog excitement really slowed down there eh?... NOT. should have some tasty new pics of my rice bucket up by tomorrow or so. gonna be fun for the whole family.

Some drifting goodness

So I finally get my diff welded (after I thought my last one exploded). Well, after swapping diffs I figured out that the terrible noise I was hearing was my driveshaft nearly cutting a hole in the underside of my car. This was due to a bolt holding my diff in place snapping off allowing the diff and driveshaft to grind against my car. YAY I love cars!!! anyway i fixed the problem, went drifting at a local spot and now i think the bolt snapped again. Blah Blah Blah lets get to the drifting.

May be trading e36?!?!

Yes it is true, Devin may be trading his drift whip in order to get into another S chassis once again. The car is (pretty) legit. Wish him luck!

The Beginnings...

Cali Kyle's car from VRT is coming along nicely, I love the street fighter look. This is one of the cars keeping me motivated to keep my coupe and make it sick. we'll see how my car develops this summer....
